A 40-foot container on Friday morning fell off a trailer on the Ojuelegba bridge, inward Stadium, Lagos State.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority made this known on its verified Twitter page.
It tweeted, “#Ojuelegba #RoadIncident A 40ft container fell off a trailer on Ojuelegba bridge inward Stadium blocking the entire main carriageway now. Diversion in progress thrrugh the Ojuelegba service lanes.”
The fire, which started in the afternoon, was reportedly triggered by an electrical spark.
