Nedu emphasized that social media often amplifies negativity, particularly regarding marriage.
Popular media personality Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, better known as Nedu, has affirmed that working marriages still exist despite the increasing divorce rates.
Nedu, who recently unveiled his new lover months after his first marriage crashed during a recent episode of his Honest Bunch podcast, expressed belief in the institution of marriage.
He encouraged singles not to be influenced by negative news surrounding marriages. This advice came after reality TV star Teddy A, who was a guest on the show, shared the story of his own love journey with his wife, Bam Bam.
Nedu emphasized that social media often amplifies negativity, particularly regarding marriage. He noted that those with happy marriages tend to keep them private to avoid scrutiny and judgment, as external opinions can harm a relationship.
“This is me telling you guys that marriage works. Don’t be deceived by what you see on social media. On social media, the voice of the ones that don’t work is the loudest. The many that work, they want to keep it private because na wetin person know na e he dey spoil.” He said.
Just recently, Big Brother Naija star and singer, Tope Adenibuyan, popularly known as Teddy A, recounted the state of his relationship with his wife, Bambam and the event that led to his wedding proposal.
Speaking an appearance on the Honest Bunch podcast with Nedu Wazobia and others, Teddy revealed that he and Bambam has been in a serious fight for about two weeks before he proposed.
According to him, the relationship was almost at its end and it looked like there was no other solution and he just wanted to end it in a way that brought closure.
The socialite claimed that he had called his brother to express how he felt about BamBam and that the brother had warned him to be aggressive or else risk losing her to someone else, since Teddy A was still obviously in love with her.
He noted that he had ordered BamBam’s manager to inform the singer about her meeting with the governor of Lagos state and Olamide.
She had gone to the location of the meeting because she was excited about the idea of speaking with the governor; however, she was unaware that Teddy A was working at her home organizing a surprise marriage proposal.
He was on one knee and holding a wedding ring when she eventually arrived home.
