“We were never married” – Actress, Bukola Arugba reveals as she announces split from long-term partner and colleague, Damola Olatunji

The statement also clarified that the duo, who have two children (twins) together, were never married to each other.

Nollywood actress, Bukola Arugba, has announced her separation from her long-term partner and colleague Damola Olatunji.

In a statement drafted by her lawyers and released on her Instagram page on Tuesday night, May 30, the actress revealed that she and Olatunji are no longer an item.

While they have decided to go their separate ways, Arugba and Damola have agreed to jointly ensure the well-being and welfare of their children.

The couple started dating in 2015, and their relationship is blessed with twins, David and Deborah.

The statement reads,

“To whom it may concern,
RE: BUKOLA AWOYEMI(ARUGBA) AND DAMOLA OLATUNJI.
We are solicitors to Ms. Bukola Awoyemi, also known as Arugba, hereinafter referred to as our client and on whose instruction we give this Notice.

Please take NOTE that our client, Bukola Awoyemi and Mr. Damola Olatunji are no longer an item. They have gone their separate ways and this is without any hard feelings or ill will. They have never been married to each other but are blessed with two lovely children (twins).

They have both agreed to jointly ensure that the wellbeing and welfare of their two children is guaranteed.
Our client wishes Mr. Damola Olatunji God’s continued blessings.
