The Management of Adamimogo FM Nigeria, owners of Adamimogo 93.1FM, Lagos and Adamimogo 105.1FM, Ibadan has named prominent broadcaster, Dele Adeyanju as its pioneer Head of Operations.
Prior to his latest appointment, Adeyanju was the Head of Programmes at Adamimogo 93.1FM, Lagos. His latest elevation implies that he would superintend over the production of On-Air-Content in Lagos and the Ibadan division of the station – Adamimogo 105.1FM.
A statement by the Chief Operating Officer of the Media Company, Babatunde Bamgboye noted that Adeyanju’s new role comprises, “formulating and executing programme contents that will raise the station above its contemporaries with a view to boosting sales/revenue.”
He is also expected to ‘work closely with the General Managers of both stations in introducing and implementing processes and standards in the stations.”
Dele Adeyanju, a long-term Broadcast Journalist, Yoruba music historian, and researcher started his radio journey at Gold 95.5fm Ilesa in 2001.
Since then, he has had working experiences with the Osun State Broadcasting Corporation, Osogbo, OSBC New Dawn Television, Ibokun, Radio Nigeria Gold FM, Murhi International Lagos, the owners of MITV and Star FM, 32FM, Lagelu FM, Petals FM all in Ibadan.
He served as Head of Programs and subsequently, General Manager of Lead City University FM in Ibadan. He served as Head of Timsed Broadcasting Service, owners of TITV and Timsed 94.9fm.
He is proudly a curator of the history of Nigerian music genres, Fuji and Juju on Agbaletu TV on YouTube, and has seven music albums to his credit.
Adeyanju is happily married with Children.
