200-level OAU student, Enitan admitted in hospital after completing 58 hours wash-a-thon

A 200-level student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Enitan Subair has completed the 50 hours wash-a-thon with an addition of 8 hours.

Enitan, who started hand washing on Friday, succeeded in breaking the record around midnight on Monday, with an addition of eight hours.

While Nigerians celebrated the new record breaker, others were concerned about the state of her health after a video of her in the hospital surfaced online.

The video which was shared on the microblogging platform X, captured Eniola’s hand looking pale while she laid on the hospital bed.

Before she was taken to the hospital, Eniola mentioned that she felt fulfilled having completed the challenge in front of her mum, Omogbolabo Afolake and her colleagues.

She said;

“I am very fulfilled to have completed the task right in front of my mum, friends and colleagues who thronged this venue to show love and support my ambition.”

While she is been celebrated by Nigerians, others are hoping that the challenge does not have a side effect on her hands.
