Nollywood filmmaker of all time Funke Akindele as her movie A Tribe Called Judah makes record in the United Kingdom.
Funke Akindele’s A Tribe Called Judah grossed eighty thousand pounds (£80,000) in just four weeks of streaming in the UK.
Its no surprise to many because her movie grossed over One Billion naira in the Nigeria box office within four weeks of it’s release.
Sharing the news online, Film One congratulated Funke Akindele for being a focused queen and also acknowledged her as a ‘big baller’.

Recall that Funke Akindele set a record for the Nigeria film industry as the first ever Nollywood film to enter a billion naira even in a short period of time.
Funke Akindele made a whooping one billion, sixty million, seven hundred and eleven thousand, four hundred and ninety one.
Funke Akindele’s movies, A Tribe Called Judah, Battle On Buka Street and Omo Ghetto The Saga are respectively the highest grossing Nollywood film of all time.
It was reported earlier that Funke Akindele expressed her emotions when she launched a new production house.
The actress officially made this announcement on her Instagram page where she unveiled the name of the production house, Funke Akindele Network, which has been in existence for over a year.
The mother of two twin boys was thrilled to announce the powerhouse being the blockbuster and record breaking movie, Battle on Buka Street.
Pouring out her emotions, she noted that the production house represents a 360-degree approach to filmmaking and also serves as PR solutions for films.
Funke Akindele appreciated her fans for their unwavering love and support that birthed FAAN, stating it was established as a collective strength of everyone who stood by her.
