Two Ekiti Youths Inducted into the 2024 100 Tourism Personalities in Nigeria

In a remarkable achievement for the state, two young individuals from Ekiti origin, Peculiar Ekiran and Ogunleye Dolapo, have been officially inducted into the prestigious 2024 100 Tourism Personalities in Nigeria. The induction ceremony took place today at the National Museum in Onikan, Lagos, under the auspices of the notable tourism industry publication, ATQ Magazine.

Peculiar Ekiran, appointed by Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji as the Special Assistant for Tourism Development, has shown exceptional dedication to promoting tourism in Ekiti State. With his extensive knowledge and passion for the sector, Ekiran is set to make a significant impact on the state’s tourism industry.

Another outstanding individual is Ogunleye Dolapo, a distinguished graduate of the Tourism and Hospitality Study program at Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti. Dolapo currently serves as a valued member of the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development, contributing significantly to the growth and development of the state’s tourism sector.

During the induction ceremony, Amb Ikechi Uko, the Publisher of ATQ Magazine, acknowledged the outstanding contributions and achievements of Peculiar Ekiran and Ogunleye Dolapo. He commended them for their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to excellence, which have earned them the recognition as worthy ambassadors of Ekiti State.

Amb Ikechi Uko also congratulated the Director-General of the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development, Amb Wale Ojo-Lanre, for producing two exceptional inductees from Ekiti State. This achievement reflects the bureau’s unwavering commitment to nurturing young talents and promoting a vibrant tourism industry in the state.
