Oyo NAWOJ Visits CSDA Harps On Collaboration ,Women’s Welfare

The leadership of National Association of Women Journalists NAWOJ Oyo State led by Comrade Omolola Alamu has sought effective collaboration of Community Social Development Agency for the advancement of women in the state.

The Association made this known during a courtesy visit on the Chairman of the Oyo CSDA Hon Abideen Adeaga

According to Oyo Nawoj Chairperson,CSDA is one of the critical Stakeholders that shares same ideology with Nawoj especially on Empowerment ,social and Community development.

” Our association is dedicated to promoting gender equality, empowering women, and advocating for social justice. As journalists, we recognize the critical role we play in shaping public opinion and holding leaders accountable”

” We know our Association has been in collaboration with your Agency over the years where we have the likes of past chairpersons of NAWOJ like, Alhaja Fatima Abdulkareem, Mrs Toyin Malik,Mrs Adekiitan Adeagbo, Mrs Foluso Lala and the immediate past chairperson Mrs jadesola Ajibola, that’s why we are here to intimate you of the change in baton so that the collaboration could continue at making the voices of women and children including the physically challenged to be heard in the society”

“I have been privileged to work with your Agency on a few occasions and I know what CSDA stands for ” Alamu said

She urged the agency to prioritize initiatives that promote gender equality, skills development, and economic empowerment for women in the state

While commending the Oyo State Community and Social Development Agency for its efforts towards improving the lives of citizens, particularly women and children,Comrade Alamu equally appreciated the commitment of the Agency in the area of social development and community empowerment.

While welcoming the Oyo Nawoj,the Chairman Oyo CSDA Hon Abideen Adeaga assured collaboration with Nawoj to ensure a better society for women especially in the area of Empowerment and social development.

The CSDA Chairman said the Governor Seyi Makinde led administration is passionate about social welfare of people through lofty programmes that aimed at moving the state forward.

Hon Adeaga also lauded the Oyo Nawoj led by Comrade Omolola Alamu for giving adequate attention to issues affecting women in society and promised CSDA support in its Association’s programmes.

Also the General Manager of Oyo Community and Social Development Agency Mr Jelili Salawu said Oyo CSDA and Nawoj are partners in progress towards ensuring a better society for all.
