Similarly, early this year, Funke Akindele reflected on her growth. The movie star, while partaking in a trending TikTok challenge, shared before and after photos of herself, which left many in awe of her transformation. Funke made it known that she didn’t bleach her skin as she admonished her fans and followers to her forget the days of their little beginnings. Sharing a message for them, she told them to be inspired and stay focused as someday they will get there.

In February, Cute Abiola had reflected on his time spent in detention. In November 2021, the comedian spent 10 days in Navy detention for defying military laws by posting a video of himself in military uniform on social media. This act was said to violate the armed forces’ social media policy. The comedian was later released after 18 days to serve his punishment after he was tried for misconduct and indiscipline.

Reminiscing on the past, Cute Abiola admitted that the military humbled him as he noted how he spent 30 days inside the cell. However, he remains grateful to the Armed Forces.
