“I didn’t know I was pregnant till I was five months gone” – Wizkid’s first babymama, shares.

Sola Ogudugu says she didn’t know she was pregnant

Sola Ogudugu, the first babymama of singer, Wizkid, has opened up on her pregnancy.

The single mother of one, in an interview with Maria Chike on the Mums Next Door podcast, revealed that she didn’t know she was pregnant until she was five months gone. According to her, she didn’t have any symptoms until she got to 5 months, and then her tummy became big.

Sola stated that she had a stress less pregnancy as she was still going to her school in Benin Republic until she was eight months pregnant. She added that the only thing she had to give up while pregnant was her body spray and perfume.

“My pregnancy, I was pregnant for four months, to be honest, because I didn’t. I was pregnant till I was four months gone. I didn’t have any symptoms. I don’t know the myth behind it; the moment I found out, my tummy just went big. The rest of the pregnancy was good because I was going to University. I schooled in Benin Republic. I was going every week and coming home weekend till I finished my final exams. I stopped going to school at eight months, two weeks. The only difference was my tummy was big, but I had no symptoms or anything. It was my body spray and perfume I had to do away with”.

It is unarguably that Sola Ogudugu is a good mother as she has played the role of a father and mother in her son’s life over the years. While Wizkid constantly misses out on his son’s school activities, Sola Ogudugu always ensures she is present on all his occasions, cheering him on.

When Boluwatife graduated from Primary school in 2022, Sola had thrown him a graduation party with his father not in attendance. The single mother had even written a powerful message to him when he resumed High School. She noted how proud she was of her son, as she urged him to show everyone his thirst for knowledge and his talents.

Sola had even made her son’s wish come true after his brilliant performance at school. The proud mother kept to her words and treated him to a shopping spree, and ensured she ticked one of her son’s wishlists as a means of encouraging him to do better.

On Mother’s Day, Boluwatife brought her to tears as he rained prayers on her. Sola shared the heartfelt message on her Instagram story as she stated that there was no greater feeling than that as she said Amen to his prayers.
