Alesh Sanni laments as courts sentence man to 14 years for stealing a fowl

Nollywood actor Alesh Sanni has lamented the supposed injustice meted out on a man who reportedly stole a fowl.

News has been going round that a court in Osun State sentenced a man to 14 years imprisonment for stealing a fowl.

Actress Biola Bayo has interviewed the mother of the man on her show. She lamented the injustice done towards her family and pleaded with the Osun State governor to help them out.

Although details of the incident are still sketchy but the Osun State government has vowed to intervene after the video went viral online.

Reacting Tk the reports of the man’s sentence, Alesh Sanni slammed people in power who utilised their power in the wrong way.

He stated that the government is not the issue all the time but the evil residing in people of power makes them misbehave.

He wrote, People in power just do anyhow in this my country Nigeria…. Imagine someone just stole a fowl and was sentenced… Imagine 14 years in prison for just a fowl…. Please those in charge should be published because whyyyyyy… This isn’t about government but about the evil people in power. You people have no fear of God. This is really sad…. It takes nothing chai… Nothing but freedom walai chai”

It was reported earlier that Alesh Sanni broke down in tears when he spoke to his fans about the struggles many pass through.

The actor shared a video of himself in an undisclosed location. He compiled the videos of his different destinations enjoying himself.

Alesh Sanni also includes a part where he broke into tears over reasons not disclosed. The actor only made it known that people go through a lot.

Sharing the video on his verified Instagram page, Sanni urged those who are going through one challenge or the other to talk to God. He noted how some people only put up a smiling face for the camera but have much going on in their closet.

He advised us to focus on the things that matter rather than what others are saying.
