Sometimes I miss my old body, but then I look at my new body and see growth” – Eniola Badmus

Popular Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus is speaking on her body transformation for the umpteenth time.

The movie star, via her Instagram page, admitted that there are days she misses her old body – the fullness, softness and the way she took up space without hesitation. She stated that there was comfort in her old body and a sense of identity that she never had to question.

However, when she looks at her new body, she sees growth not just physically but emotionally. She said the body has carried her through change, challenges, moments, and self-discovery. Eniola added that though her body moves and feels differently, it is mine.

“There are days when I miss my old body, the fullness, the softness, the way I took up space without hesitation. I miss how familiar it felt, how I knew its curves like the back of my hand, how certain outfits hugged me just right. There was comfort in that body, a sense of identity I never had to question.

But then, I look at my new body, and I see growth not just physically but emotionally. This body has carried me through change, challenges, moments of doubt, and discovery. It moves differently, it feels differently, but it is still mine. And just as I learned to love my body before, I am learning to love this one now.

Missing who I was doesn’t prevent me from appreciating who I am becoming. Both versions of me deserve love, respect, and kindness. In this journey of transformation, I remind myself that no matter the size, my worth remains unchanged. “

A few weeks back, the Gbogbo Big Girls actress shared her weight loss journey with her fans. Eniola shared an old photo of herself cropped alongside a recent one to reflect on her struggles, pains, and strength. The talented bursty actress stated that she still doubts the results of her weight loss, as she spoke about the physical, emotional, and mental tests that taunted her determination.

In 2022, Eniola Badmus broke the internet with her transformation body and her glamorous look to the AMVCA, where she was the subject of discussion for days and many compared her previous AMVCA look to her 2022 look.

Since her body transformation, Eniola Badmus has never ceased, leaving many fans in awe of her new look. Speaking out, Eniola disclosed that her epic transformation was not an easy journey as many portrayed it to be, stating her eyes had seen all.

In an interview with City People, Eniola opened up on why she went for gastric bypass surgery in Turkey, revealing that it was to control her eating habits.

In April of 2024, Eniola Badmus gave an update on her weight journey, revealing that she has gone from 170 kg to 102kg. She admitted that it hasn’t been easy and revealed that her goal is to get to 85kg.
