Why Mr Eazi and I Chose Iceland for Our White Wedding – Temi Otedola.

Temi Otedola, wife of Nigerian music star Mr Eazi, has shared the reason behind their choice of Iceland for their white wedding ceremony.

The couple, who tied the knot last month in a private ceremony at the historic Hallgrimskirkja Church in Reykjavik, Iceland, had earlier held their court wedding in Monaco on May 9 and their traditional wedding in Dubai on July 5.

In a post on Instagram, Temi revealed that she and Mr Eazi first visited Iceland in 2021 and immediately fell in love with its people, nature, and energy. According to her, it was only fitting to celebrate their marriage in a place that held such special meaning to them.

“Welcome to Iceland! Since our first trip in 2021, we fell in love with the people, nature and energy of this country, so for our White Wedding celebrations, we decided to share our special place with our special people,” she wrote.

Temi also gave details about her second outfit for their Dubai reception, disclosing that seven embroidery artisans, three couturiers and five hand workers spent 4,590 hours crafting her gown and cape by hand.

In an exclusive feature with Vogue Magazine, the couple confirmed that their wedding spanned three countries—Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland.

Following the ceremonies, Temi updated her social media bio to reflect her new marital status, officially taking her husband’s surname, Ajibade.

Mr Eazi had proposed to Temi in April 2022. Reflecting on why she said yes, Temi explained that she felt an unmatched sense of peace and believed she had found her soulmate.

The couple had also revealed earlier that they wanted a very intimate wedding with only close family in attendance.
