Yinka Ayefele Drops 2025 Album “Reflections

Enigmatic Tungba Gospel exponent, Dr. Yinka Ayefele has again blessed the world of music with the another soul-stirring album, philosophically named, “REFLECTIONS”.

The 2025 album dropped on Monday, December 22.

Like the great Socrates said, ‘The unexamined life is not worth living’, ‘Reflections’ is a poignant musical metaphor for Dr. Ayefele’s thoughtfulness, introspection, and  nostalgia, to make sense of his personal life of near tragedies, trials and tribulations in the passing of time.

After deeply examining his personal life, Dr. Ayefele delved into praises in a unique format, full of magnificent creativity in rhythmic drum percussions, excellent melody of the strings and his signature call-and-response vibes, accompanied by the harmonious backup voices of the world-famous Merry Makers Band.

The album elements include but not limited to
Tungba hymnals, Arabic praise chant from female budding talent, Harike Jesu, who also delivered a danceable Fuji track.

So, the Track One of the album showcases Ayefele’s life journey so far and his deep examination of the past experiences that gave him the insight to give praises to the Giver of life, Jehovah.

Track Two features a delicious mix of appreciative messages to Dr. Ayefele’s fans and sets the stage for a continuous round of danceable beats to enjoy and chill.

Dr. Ayefele’s “Reflections” is a compelling tune to savour and chew this Christmas/New Year season for fans and music enthusiasts, offering a chance to deeply reflect, praise, and dance.

“Reflections” is available on major digital and downloading platforms, including Audiomack, 7digital, amazon music, Spotify, Boomplay, vevo, Tiktok, deezer, TIDAL, iTunes, shazam, mixcloud and YouTube Music.

The Compact Disc (CD) version will be released in the coming days on the Yinka Ayefele Music label.
