Raheem Okoya Speaks on Family Size, Says Father Razaq Okoya Has 26 Children

Raheem Okoya, one of the sons of billionaire industrialist Razaq Okoya, has stirred reactions online after disclosing details about his father’s large family.

In a video currently circulating on social media, Raheem described his father as a “striker,” revealing that the business mogul has 26 children from nine different women. According to him, he is the 23rd child, while the firstborn is about 60 years old.

“My dad is a striker. He has 26 kids with nine different baby mamas. I’m the 23rd among them. The firstborn is around 60 years old,” he said in the clip.

The revelation has since generated conversations online about the Okoya family and the businessman’s personal life.

Recently, two of the billionaire’s sons, Subomi and Wahab, were invited by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over a viral video in which they were seen spraying naira notes while a police officer held bundles of the currency — an act said to contravene provisions of the Central Bank of Nigeria Act, 2007.

In 2024, Shade Okoya, wife of the billionaire, also made headlines after gifting a young boy a bundle of cash at an event, a gesture that drew widespread reactions on social media, with many users nicknaming her the “Rich Aunty of Lagos.”

Earlier in 2023, Shade publicly expressed admiration for her husband, speaking about her love, respect and loyalty to him. She described him as her backbone and offered prayers for him, noting that she remains committed to upholding his name and legacy.
