My investiture symbolizes service to humanity-Oyebade

A former Deputy Inspector-General of Police (rtd), Leye Oyebade has described the award bestowed on him by the Rotary Club of Ibadan, Oritamefa, as recognition of his service to humanity.

The Former DIG made the disclosure, while speaking with newzcruise shortly after his investiture by the Rotary Club for his unprecedented service in various capacities.

Leye Oyebade, who was full of praises to the Rotary Club, noted that his investiture will further spur him to continue to contribute his quota to the development of the nation and his environment in any way he could.

He stressed that service to humanity was not when someone becomes extremely wealthy before such person could impact the society.

Oyebade said: “This award will further ginger me to continue in contributing my quota to the development of the nation and my environment.”

“You don’t need to be extremely be a wealthy person before you can affect your environment positively. In any litte way you can, make people around you feel your impact.”

“I really express my profound gratitude to the Rotary Club of Ibadan for this investiture, which I consider as one of the ways of rewarding good virtues,” Oyebade posited.
