Police arrest suspected BVAS syndicate in Abuja

The police have reportedly arrested members of a syndicate suspected to be involved in the manipulation of the Bimordial Voters Accreditation System BVAS. The suspects were apprehended by the police in a sting operation on Ghandji street in the Maitama area of the FCT.

Arise TV reports that the police has taken the suspects into custody and are investigating the illegal possession and suspected manipulation of the BVAS. It was also reported that one of the suspects arrested is said to be the Vice President of a company known as Emperor technology.

The report says the suspects are helping the police with its investigation
