Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has come to the service of people from Mbaise town.
Taking to his Instagram page, the actor claimed that he has heard people saying they should fear those from Mbaise. Telling such rumor peddlers to stop, he stated that all the Mbaise people he has met have been so good to him.
He revealed that when he filmed in Mbaise, the hospitality he receives was awesome as they have been good to him.
“I don’t know who started this ‘Fear Mbaise people’ idea, and why, it should stop.
I must say this all the Mbaise people I’ve met in my life have been so good to me.
When I filmed in Mbaise the hospitality I received was awesome.
Mbaise people have been very good to me.
I say it everywhere”.

Last week, Yul had credited himself as the originator of the name, Nwunye Odogwu. He noted how, in 2022, he launched the name by using it to praise his second wife, Judy Austin. Now, the name has become popular, and many have adopted it.
He noted how those still looking for a husband use the name as he prayed for them and admonished Nigerians to give him credit.
Months back, Yul had spoken out on the beef and envy among his people, the Igbos, noting how many of them are bearing malice against each other because their parents bad-mouthed the other to them. Yul added that there is beef and envy in almost every extended family in Igbo land and yet, on Sundays, they go to church, which makes no sense to him.
During Easter, he admonished the public to stop burning shrines and deities, as he noted how not all deities are evil. He avowed that the Whites were the ones who convinced us that our traditions were evil so we could discard our ways and embrace theirs, thereby making slavery easy. The actor told Nigerians to wake up and start embracing their tradition as many deities even acknowledge God
