How Portable was bundled into a vehicle by the police after jumping over a gate to evade arrest

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, well known as Portable, was bundled into a vehicle by the police is currently making rounds online.

It was gathered that Portable was held overnight at the Lagos State Police Headquarters in Ikeja after his arrest on Tuesday, May 14, due to an unpaid debt related to his G-Wagon.

The controversial music star was picked up following a petition filed by the car dealer who sold him a G-Wagon for N27 million.

However, it is alleged that Portable only paid N13 million upfront and failed to settle the remaining N14 million dept

Despite the dealer’s efforts to recover the outstanding balance or repossess the vehicle, Portable reportedly claimed that the car was faulty.

Consequently, the police obtained a warrant for his arrest and took him into custody.

When he was initially apprehended, Portable scaled a gate to evade arrest but was eventually caught and roughly bundled into a waiting vehicle.

A while back, Portable took to social media to publicly criticize his wife, Omobewaji.

This time, his reaction was prompted by a post she made about self-love and how important it is for people to do what is best for them.

Although she didn’t mention any names in the post, Portable felt offended by it and took to her comment section to lambaste her. ICYMI, read here
