Biola Bayo clarifies reports of suffering domestic and physical violence from ex-husband
Nollywood actress Biola Bayo has fired back at trolls mocking her over her failed marriage.
In a video captured online, the podcaster reminded her trolls that she is human. She noted that she posted her marriage because she doesn’t want people to control her narrative. Unfortunately, people are using it against her.
Biola said she informed her estranged husband before she made the post, and he knows she isn’t who people think she is.
“I am human. The other time I posted about my marriage, it was because I didn’t want people to tell my story for me, yet you all used it against me. I told my husband before I posted, so he was aware of the post. He knows I am not what people say I am, but God will reward everyone”.
It was reported sometimes last week, that Biola announced that she and her husband have been separated since April last year and have decided to co-parent their son maturely and peacefully.
Addressing those who might feel disappointed, she sincerely apologised and expressed her wish that her marriage worked, but it’s best to stay alive to tell the story. Urging her fans to keep them in their prayers, she pointed out the irony at which she goes about making other people happy, but her pillow had been drenched with her own tears almost every night for the past 14 months.
Following the news of her divorce, singer, Portable had shaded Biola, pointing out the irony of her interviewing other people’s wives yet not being in her husband’s house. Mocking her for her unsettled house, he noted how life is filled with drama.
Similarly, Laide Bakare shared a video of herself twerking as she noted how everyone would be served breakfast (heartbreak) at different times.
In another post, Laide set the record straight, saying she can never shade Biola as she is her sister. Sending prayers to her, Laide stated that she was too busy celebrating her daughter’s graduation to know about her divorce.
