“Is it only the dead you guys find justice for” Portable queries Nigerians

Nigerian controversial singer, Portable has cried out to Nigerians after landing in the hospital following being beaten by his colleagues.

Taking to his Instagram story, he shared a video of him in the hospital as he cried out over the pain he is in. Crying out to God, he stated that he didn’t want to die young.

He noted how he is surrounded by haters but God is the only one protecting him. Lecturing those intending to kill him, he lets them know that if he tries spoiling his name in the presence of those who love him, they will die young.

In a post on his Instagram page, he questioned if it’s only the dead Nigerians fight for.

He noted how there is a lot of evidence, yet no one is calling for justice for him.

“Feeling so much pain right now, just your prayer I don’t want to die young.

“Nah only d dead una dey find justice for?

May our weak points not be used for our downfall.

When the pain is deep go deeper in prayer. If God is God am not losing I promise I no go die young”.

It was reported that Portable, in a series of posts on his Instagram story, had revealed that some men had stormed his house to beat him up after he failed to perform at a show he was paid for.

The singer revealed that he was rushed to the hospital as he was in severe pain and he admitted that the people had done him bad.

Giving more insights into the attack, he detailed exactly what happened and how he landed in the hospital. He expressed that he had been attacked by about 40 people and they had badly injured him and left him with a broken leg.

He disclosed that he had initially been booked last year December for an event by two black Americans and with the new year, things got more expensive. He revealed how he had expressed this particular expense to them and had even gone ahead to do a video. However, they asked for a refund as they were not satisfied with what he pushed out to them.

Sharing their side of the story, Esquare debunked the reports of beating Portable in his house as they stated that it was at a paid location.

They recounted how they paid the singer N2.5 million to make a song with them and shoot a music video and a date was fixed after several postponements.

On the said day of the shoot, Portable failed to show up due to distance and when they reached him, he demanded an extra N1 million, which they paid him and drove to his house in Ogun to pick him up for the video shoot which was in Ajah, Lekki.

Things escalated when they demanded a refund of the N1 million since they had already given his manager the said sum and from there, things got ugly.

Following the drama, Portable briefly turned into a motivational speaker, as he shared a popular quote that says,” When the pain is deep, go deeper in prayer”.
