Man swims third mainland bridge lagoon to Raise Mental Health Awareness campaign

Nigerian swimming coach Akinrodoye Dare, also known as Coach Dreh, reportedly to have swam the entire 11.8 kilometers of the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos on Saturday.

Coach Dreh was said to have completed the challenge in two hours and 33 minutes and fifty seconds, to raise awareness about mental health issues, particularly suicide, and depression.

This was disclosed in a video shared by a social media user #MeetPrinceAhmad, via his X handle on Saturday, March 30.

The video caption reads: ” Today, the 30th March, 2024. A young man defied all odds and daringly swam the 11.8km length of the third mainland bridge in 2hrs33mins50 secs.
