OSPOLY Mass Comm Graduates Launch Appeal Fund To Support Members

2006/2009 set graduates
of Osun State Polytechnic Iree, Mass Communication Department, on Saturday held its maiden Reunion in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital , to mark 16 years of their graduation.


Members comprising National Diploma and Higher National Diploma graduates of the set from across the country and beyond were elated to fraternize , discuss how to further give back to the department and network with coursemates after graduation.


Speaking at the event, the Coordinator of the group, Adesegun Salako, described the Reunion as long over due and necessary in order to exchange ideas, and empower their old coursemates in their chosen career .


According to Adesegun Salako, we are in Ibadan to reignite the spirit of brotherhood that we share while in Osun State Polytechnic, Iree. ” This set is unique because right from school we see ourselves as brothers and sisters, the uniqueness still remain valid ” .


He therefore charged members to continue to support others through sharing of ideas, business opportunities and help colleagues facing challenges in various states.


President of the umbrella body of all sets-Mass Communication Alumni of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree (MAOS), Mr Femi Salawu made case for launching of Appeal Fund to support members and create sustainable platform to help colleagues facing challenges.


The event featured sharing of business ideas among members, cutting of cake amongst others .
