Portable receives rousing welcome from wife at the airport as he returns to Nigeria 

Zainab Badmus well known as Bewaji has treated her singer husband, Portable to a rousing welcome following his return to Nigeria.

The controversial singer and father of five has been in London for the past weeks, where he has been working on projects with British rapper, Skepta and others.

His wife, who couldn’t wait for him to get home, had picked him up at Murtala Mohammed International Airport. In a video posted to her Instagram story, Bewaji was seen beaming with joy as she tightly hugged her husband and helped him with his traveling bag.

Captioning the video, she stated that it feels so good to have her man back.

“Good to see you babe”.

A few weeks back while he was away in London, news had made rounds that the controversial singer had assaulted his wife. Photos made rounds of her showing off her injured body, along with screenshots accusing the singer of beating her.

Recall that his baby mama, Keji had once accused him of always beating his wife. Bearing this kind, many concluded that the singer was physically violent to his wife.

Bewaji addressed the claims, debunking the rumors, as she accused people of trying to ruin her husband’s life and career. She questioned how her husband who wasn’t in the country could have beaten her as she dared the rumour peddlers.

Portable had also shut down the false reports and had accused his fourth baby mama, Ashabi of spreading false rumors about his marriage.

Recall that Portable tied the knot with Bewaji in 2022 at their son’s naming ceremony and the couple share two kids. The singer also has 3 kids who he shares with 3 women.

A few days back, Bewaji had affirmed her position as the number one woman in his life.

The mother of two, peppered his baby mamas as she shared a loved-up video of her and the singer in a car, she noted how the singer has always made her a happy woman and as such, she is wishing him more happiness in the new month.

Last year, Portable dropped a bombshell on his marriage as he revealed in an interview that Bewaji isn’t his first wife.

Portable disclosed that she was his daughter before things turned lovey-dovey for them and was the only woman who stood by him and believed in him when his then-girlfriends thought he was cr@zy.

The singer, further revealed that he checks his wife’s phone constantly to avoid people wrongfully advising her or using her against him. He added that he doesn’t allow his side chicks or mistresses to compete with his wife.
