“The winner could have been anyone but not a crossdresser, they disrespected every woman there” – Dayo Amusa reacts to Bobrisky winning the best-dressed female award at a movie premiere

Nollywood actress and singer, Dayo Amusa has slammed judges at the Beast of Two World movie premiere for giving Bobrisky an award for the most dressed female.

The actress had criticized the judges at the premiere for gifting a crossdresser an award in the presence of real women.

Amusa claimed that there were two categories, best-dressed male and female but the organizers decided to reward Bobrisky with the award for best-dressed female.

In her opinion, a transgender man should not be given an award from under a female category and their actions at the ceremony resulted in two men collecting both awards.

While addressing the public, she noted that if the organizers wanted to reward a crossdresser they should create their own categories.

The actress who mentioned that the judges disrespected all other women present, said;

“I’m not happy, the winner could have been anyone but definitely not a crossdresser, what’s wrong with us, when did we become like this? I can’t imagine the judges disrespecting every woman who was there, who actually made an effort to be at that event, you watered the effort of all the women at the event by giving the best-dressed female to a crossdresser, I don’t get it. If they deserve to get an award, give them a space and platform to showcase themselves. Their actions made me walk out of the event angrily.”
