You announced that you were getting a divorce on Instagram just to create buzz for your show” – Twitter user drags comedian, Seyi Law

A Twitter user has taken to the micro-blogging platform to lambaste ace comedian Seyi Law after he shamed a man for claiming his wife’s achievement as his.

Seyi Law, who on Monday, March 27, celebrated his 12th wedding anniversary with his wife, Stacy, had taken to his Twitter handle to take a swipe at an unidentified man.

He claimed the man is alleging that Nigeria’s president-elect Tinubu is trying to steal his way to power, while he (the man) claimed his wife’s achievement in the real estate business as his own.

“Somebody on this app said Tinubu is trying to steal his way to power, and I almost commented, ‘But you stole your wife’s achievements in the real estate business as yours.’ I am just quoting my thought o. Ehen! What’s good this morning, my people?” Seyi Law wrote.

The tweet apparently enraged a Twitter user, who immediately reminded Seyi Law of how he announced he was getting a divorce from his wife in 2019 only to later say it was a prank.

“You announced that you were getting a divorce on Instagram just to create buzz for your show only to come back to say it was a prank. Don’t you think it’s better to claim your wife’s achievement than tell the whole world that your don’t rate your wife? Shameless føøl.” She replied.
