Seyi Makinde Coasts To Victory, Clears 31 LGs

as Folarin comes second with 2 LGs

The incumbent Governor ‘Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, has undoubtedly, equalled the history laid by a former Governor Abiola Ajimobi, to have become the second governor to secure reelection in the state.

Makinde, who is seeking reelection on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, cleared 31 out of the 33 local government areas in the state, to beat the All Progreasives Congress candidate, Teslim Folarin and Accord Party candidate, Adebayo Adelabu.
