The remains of the former Director of Army Public Relations, retired Brig.-Gen. Texas Chukwu, were on Friday laid to rest at the Guards Brigade Cemetery, Lungi Barracks in Abuja.
Chukwu, who died on January 5 in Abuja after a brief illness, was appointed army spokesperson in February 2018.
The burial rites of late Chukwu commenced at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Mambilla Barracks before the interment.
