Nothing Like “Office OF The Founder,” Stop Hyping Your Sponsor, Olopoeyan Educates Suspended NNPP State Chairmen

The Southwest Leader of New Nigeria People’s Party, Alhaji Adebisi Olopoeyan has advised the suspended NNPP State Chairmen of the party to be mature politically rather than toe the line of destruction.

Olopoeyan in reaction to a statement made by the acclaimed forum of NNPP chairmen through their spokesperson
Olayinka Dada, said, it is not best for him to trade words with the suspended and expelled state chairmen but will still make it necessary to advise them on political activities and participation.

The southwest leader said the suspended party chairmen should have waited patiently to see the end of their suspensions, rather they are rebellious,
chose the path that will lead them to a journey of no return in politics.

In his statement, Olopoeyan said, an acclaimed forum of the party state’s chairmen is just so naive that, after their suspension, they still going around to be fooled by the unrecognized ” Office of the Founder”

” At first, I had decided not to respond to the statement made by the suspended NNPP state chairman of Ekiti, Olayinka Dada on behalf of some suspended state chairmen who called themselves forum, but I need to educate them on some issues and political participation.

First, the suspended chairmen need to understand that, there is nothing like the “Office of the Founder” in any party constitution, so it is so embarrassing to our party’s BOT, Chief Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam issuing a letter with the heading Office of the Founder to reinstate suspended party members.

” The suspended chairmen who are
cohorts with the BoT chair failed to remember him that, the Independent Electoral Commission doesn’t recognize positions or an office called
“Office of the Founder” and deal with the office of BoT, but all they were after is to embarrass themselves in public with unreasonable claims.

” It is very easy for anyone who wants to use the ” Office of The founder” to establish a church, to claim and be using such a position legally but it is unwise and unconstitutional for Chief Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam and his suspended chairmen believe that an Office of a founder exists in politics for a political party.

” To me, I have no issue with the BoT chair, nor the suspended party chairmen, I am a politician of astute and all I know is to work for the party, not individuals, I wouldn’t have joined NNPP if I had known that someone like the BoT is in the party. I was wooed by Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso and I was glad to join him in the new party because I know him as a man of pedigree when we were both in PDP.

I recognized only Kwankwaso because he is a great politician, a former federal lawmaker, two-term governor, two-term senator, and a minister of the federal republic of Nigeria, such a person is worthy of following to raise a party, not Chief Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam who has no political profile.

” How I wish the acclaimed chairmen had advised the party BoT, Chief Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam on the need to give Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso and the National Working Committee the needed time to transform NNPP into the party of his dream.

” If not because of Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, that, use his name and profile to sell the party in 2023. I wonder what the BoT will have done with his party certificate again in the last election.

And again, I challenged the BoT chairman, to release the result of the presidential and state elections of his state, more so, want him to tell us how he has solidified the party and the structure in his state.

” After reading the suspended chairmen’s statement about me, it made me believe that most of them are in politics to worship personality and look for what they will eat which made it easy for them to blindly accept that, the BoT occupied an office that can override the party constitution.

“As I said, I am a party man, and always obey party conditions and likewise perform my duty as leader. I wonder how soon Dada Olayinka forgot how often I send money to Ekiti to finance NNPP, it is so unappreciative of the acclaimed spokesperson of the suspended chairman, Olayinka Dada not have considered how often I rescued him and his leader many times in Ekiti state and if I had lied, I challenged Olayinka Dada to ask for receipts of all moment sent.

More so, I will like to ask Olayinka Dada to tell me where the BoT, Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam was when I was making an effort to finance some other NNPP state in Southwest, how much was the contribution of the BoT to them then?
