Oyo Christian journalists condole state’s assembly’s Majority Leader over son’s death

The Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists, NACJ, Oyo State chapter, has condoled the Oyo State House of Assembly Majority Leader, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin, over the death of his son, Faith Adedoyin, in a fatal road accident.

Faith, until his death, was a 500-level student in the Department of Accounting at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

NACJ, in a statement by the Public Relations Officer, Comrade Adeola Badru, on behalf of the chairman of the association in the state, Comrade ‘Lekan Sobowale, described the death of the deceased as shocking and unbelievable, praying God to give the family of the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss.

The deceased was one of the victims of a fatal accident that happened on Wednesday in Ilobu, Osun State, while a vehicle conveying some LAUTECH students back to Ogbomoso after a trip to Oluminrin Waterfall, Erin Ijesa, got involved in an accident.

The statement read in part: “We, the Association of Christian Journalists in the state, write to condole the state’s House of Assembly Majority Leader, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin, over the death of his son, Faith Adedoyin, in a fatal road accident.”

“The entire members of NACJ in Oyo State received with rude shock the news of the untimely death of Faith Adedoyin, a 500 level Accounting department of  LAUTECH and a son to Oyo State Assembly Majority Leader.”

“On behalf of myself and the entire members of NACJ in the state, I commiserate with Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin and the entire family.”

“I pray to God to grant you the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Please, accept our condolences.”

“As we continue to be shocked and saddened by the news of Faith Adedoyin’s untimely death, we pray to God to grant his soul a perfect rest in peace.”
