“You are a fantastic gift to us” – Alaafin’s wife remembers him today

One of the wives of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Queen Memunat Omowunmi Adeyemi remembered her late husband, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi two years after his death.

Queen Omoh took to social media to pour out her heart and feelings about her husband’s demise. She said life is somehow unfair to her for taking her husband when it felt like yesterday when they met.

The beautiful queen prayed that the Lord pardon the shortcomings of her husband and increase his blessings.

“Life is somehow unfair. It seems like we met yesterday, but now You are on the other side, As long as we live your love will forever be in our heart, you were a fantastic gift to Us all we can not express the void we feel every day.

Beseeching Almighty Allah to overlook your shortcomings and increase His (نعمته)on you….. keep on resting IKU BABAYEYE ATANDA OMO IBIRONKE, in between I’m nurturing your ADEGOKE, ADETOUN and ADEDAYO as I can may Allah make them global leaders to spread your name across the whole universe.”

In like manner Queen Memunat marked the late Alaafin’s one year death anniversary.

She marked Alaafin’s one year remembrance with gratitude to the late monarch for turning her into a noble being among others in the society.

While mourning his absence, the queen noted that she could never touch nor see him, but he is always in her heart, and she is grateful for his existence in her life.

Memunat praised him for touching the lives of people while on earth and prayed for his soul.

Also the King’s youngest wife, Dami penned an emotional tribute, to commemorate his demise.

She shared photos on Instagram, recalling the fond memories she shared with the late king and her son.

She accompanied the pictures with an emotional tribute detailing the message she received from the late Alaafin of Oyo.
