Nigerian couple tie the knot seven months after meeting on Twitter

A Nigerian couple is currently trending on social media after tying the knot just seven months after their initial encounter on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter (now X).

The excited groom, Bobola Adeparusi, took to the internet to share the serendipitous way he met his wife, Fisayo, on Wednesday, May 15. His post has since gone viral, sparking a flurry of sweet reactions.

Apparently, in October 2023, Bobola responded to a random post asking for the subject he could write about successfully without studying, and Fisayo replied with a subtle love shot at him.

The viral post reads, “What subject can you write about successfully without studying?”

In response, Bobola wrote, “It will still be Mathematics. If I don’t know a question initially, I will still find my way but I won’t be stranded. Never!”

Interestingly, Fisayo responded, “Come and marry me please 🙏 so you can help our kids with their math homework 🥴”

He then proceeded to slide into her DMs to continue their conversation, leading to the beginning of a beautiful relationship.
