Oyo State Governor, Engr. ‘Seyi Makinde, has approved a fresh set of appointments, including the appointment of Hon. Seun Adelore as Senior Special Assistant on Chieftaincy Matters.
The governor also appointed Pastor Akin Alamu, immediate past Chairman of the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) and former member of the Oyo State Advisory Council, as a member of the Oyo State Elders’ Council.
Other appointments include Mr. Elijah Kolawole Akanmu, who was named Special Adviser on Housing and Board Member of the Oyo State Housing Corporation, while Mr. Sakariya Mohammed Taofik was appointed Special Adviser on Rural Development.
According to letters signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, Ph.D., the following appointments were also approved:
Mr. Yinka Oladoyinbo – Executive Assistant on Information and Orientation
Ms. Ronke Giwa-Onafuwa – Senior Special Assistant on Information and Orientation
Mr. Dapo Falade – Senior Special Assistant on Information and Orientation
Hon. Seun Adelore – Senior Special Assistant on Chieftaincy Matters
Hon. Gbenga Adewusi, former Chairman of the Oyo State Sports Council – Executive Assistant, Sports Commission
Mr. Ogundele Quadri – Special Assistant on Urban Development
Elder Olawale Olugbenga, JP – Special Assistant on Culture and Tourism
Mr. Ibrahim Abayomi – Executive Assistant, Works
Governor Makinde charged the newly appointed officials to discharge their responsibilities with dedication, commitment and loyalty to the people and government of Oyo State.
The appointments take immediate effect
