EndBadGovernance: Iyabo Ojo joins protest as she writes to Tinubu

Actress Iyabo Ojo has joined the raging End Bad Governance protest as thousands of Nigerians troop out to the streets to call out the ruling government.

There have been controversy surrounding the planned protests which started today, the first of August in various parts of the country.

There have been reports of mild violence in some parts of the country with many pouring out their pains to the media.

Sharing a video on her Instagram page, Iyabo Ojo wrote openly to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to caution his men and allow the citizens their right to a peaceful protest.

“officialasiwajubat, please, sir, kindly speak to your men to caution their men ….. allow a peaceful protest….. thank you.#peacefulprotest is their right.”

Iyabo Ojo also shared various videos on her Instagram page to show support and join the protesters.

Recall that in 2023 during the general elections, Iyabo Ojo went against many to support the political rival of the ruling party.

Her decision earned her respect from Peter Obi’s supporters while others who supported the ruling party shaded and snubbed her.

A few days ago, Iyabo Ojo celebrated her son, Festus Ojo’s graduation from Altinbas University in Istanbul, Turkey.

The proud mom shared photos from the ceremony and appreciated her son for making her proud through his hard work and dedication.

The mother of two showered her son with prayers of blessings, happiness, greatness and prosperity.

While speaking in her plight as a single mother, Iyabo Ojo admitted that it hasn’t been easy, but she and hailed all single parents, calling them the true heroes and champions.
