Senator Alli celebrates Farounbi, Raji’s contributions to Nigeria’s progress, growth

Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has extended heartfelt congratulations to Ambassador Yemi Farounbi and legal icon, Ahmed Raji, SAN, on their birthdays.

In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, and made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Ibadan, Senator Alli celebrated both men for their remarkable achievements.

Farounbi, a former Ambassador to the Philippines, turned 80, while renowned legal icon Ahmed Raji, SAN, celebrated his 63rd birthday.

Senator Alli commended them for their immense contributions to national development and unwavering dedication to their respective fields.

He described their lives as an inspiration to many, praising their legacies of excellence, patriotism, and commitment to the betterment of society.

The lawmaker lauded Ambassador Farounbi’s diplomatic service, noting the indelible marks he has left on Nigeria’s international relations and media landscape.

Senator Alli noted ambassador’s dedication to promoting Nigeria’s image abroad and fostering peace, emphasising his lifetime of selfless service.

Similarly, the senator extolled Ahmed Raji, SAN, for his outstanding career in law, describing him as a legal luminary whose contributions have significantly impacted the Nigerian justice system.

He praised Raji’s professionalism, integrity, and commitment to upholding the rule of law, which have earned him widespread respect.

The lawmaker said that Raji has contributed immensely to the development of not only Iseyin but the entire Oke Ogun in all ramifications.

Senator Alli expressed hope that their future endeavours would continue to inspire and uplift the nation, while wishing them many more years of good health, happiness, and continued success.
