The Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists (NACJ), Oyo State Chapter, has expressed its deepest condolences to the Chairperson of Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS), Mrs. Dotun Olaitan,
on the passing of her beloved mother.

In a heartfelt statement issued on behalf of the NACJ chairman, Com. Lekan Shobo Shobowale by the Public Relations Officer, Com. Adeola Badru, the association acknowledged the profound sorrow that accompanies such a significant loss.

“The loss of a mother is a profound sorrow that touches the very essence of our being. We stand with Mrs. Olaitan during this difficult time, offering our prayers and support,” the statement read.

Com. Shobowale emphasised the invaluable role that mothers play in shaping lives and communities, adding that: “A mother’s love is irreplaceable. It nurtures, guides, and inspires us. Mrs. Olaitan’s mother was not only a guiding light in her life but also a source of strength for all who knew her. We honour her memory and the legacy she left behind.”

Com. Shobowale further encouraged all members and colleagues of the NACJ to come together in solidarity during this time of grief.

“As journalists, we understand the importance of community and compassion. We encourage all members and colleagues to reach out, share kind words, and provide comfort to Mrs. Olaitan and her family. It is in these moments that we must show our strength as a united community.”

The NACJ also called for prayers for the Olaitan family and all who are mourning the loss, highlighting the importance of support from friends, colleagues, and the community.

“Let us all remember that we are stronger together, and our collective support can provide solace during these challenging times.”

The NACJ, however, extended its heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and all who are mourning the loss, affirming their commitment to stand by Mrs. Olaitan and her family as they navigate this difficult chapter in their lives.
