Oyo NUJ commiserates with chairman, Ademola Babalola over mother’s demise

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Council has expressed heartfelt condolences to its esteemed Chairman, Alhaji Ademola Babalola, on the passing of his beloved mother, Mrs. Wulemotu Aweni Babalola.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Secretary, Sola Oladapo and made available to newsmen on Sunday.

The union described the news of Mrs Babalola’s demise as profoundly saddening, joining its chairman and his family in mourning the great loss.

The NUJ described her as a matriarch whose warmth, love, and wisdom touched the lives of many around her.

“Mrs Babalola’s life was one defined by kindness and selflessness. Her nurturing spirit and dedication to family were a source of strength to all who knew her,” the union said.

The union expressed solidarity with its Chairman and his family in this moment of grief, offering their prayers and support.
