Don Richard

Veteran Nollywood actor Don Richard has made an emotional plea for help as he battles a life-threatening kidney disease that has drained his finances and left him in a dire health condition.

In a candid interview with actress Biola Bayo, the ailing actor shared his heartbreaking journey, revealing that he has exhausted his life savings in the course of seeking medical treatment. Now, he is appealing to well-meaning Nigerians for financial support to continue his care.

In a video shared by Biola Bayo on her Instagram page, Don Richard recounted the toll his illness has taken on his family.

“When my wife was told about my condition, she broke down in tears,” he said. “I told her another man is a lucky man and begged her to take care of our children, especially the twins.”

According to him, his wife sold their house and car in a desperate effort to pay for his medical expenses, leaving them with nothing.

The actor, who has been living with the illness for some time, is now seeking urgent help from the public to fund his treatment and stay alive.

Nigerians willing to assist can reach out through Biola Bayo’s social media platforms or directly contact the family.
