BRT: State Must Immortalise Bamise – Wale Ojo-Lanre

The Government of Lagos State and the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has been called upon to immortalise with immediate effect, Miss Oluwabamise Ayanwola, who was crudely slaughtered by a driver of a BRT bus.

Ambassador Wale Ojo-Lanre, who expressed his opinion on an online platform said it is a matter of necessity for the Government of Lagos State and the Governor to appease the soul of the dead lady who was brutally murdered by an agent of the government of Lagos State and an employee of the State Governor.

He pointed out that apart from the issue of vicarious liability, BRT and Lagos State Government and Governor owe the late Bamise, a duty of care while enjoying the service of the corporation.

Ojo-Lanre said the onus of the criminality of the offence lies squarely on the Government and Governor of the state on whose service and mission the accused was on that particular day.

He pointed out that the masses of Nigeria and residents of Lagos State who patronize BRT do so majorly because of the integrity of peach service and envisaged security of lives and property while engaging the corporation owned by Lagos State Government and under the supervision of the Governor.

Ambassador Lanre urged the Governor to promptly spell out condolence palliatives and sumptuous compensation for the family of the dead Bamise who was denied duty of care by BRT and Governor Sanwo Olu.

He pointed out that apart from fat compensation, the late Bamise must be immortalised in the BRT Terminus with her picture and a brief story of how she was crudely murdered by a staff of the corporation.

He also pointed out that the Government of Lagos and the Governor owe a duty of care to whoever patronizes BRT.
