Nigeria Singer-Seyi Shay welcome first child

Singer, Oluwaseyi Joshua, well known as Seyi Shay has welcomed her first child, a baby girl.

The new mum shared the good news with her fans and followers in an Instagram

“The Eagle has landed 🦅🙏 ❤️ What a journey its been!.. Thank you ALL for ur well wishes . We love you…”, she wrote.

This comes after the “big girl” singer had a gender reveal and baby shower party in the UK over the weekend, courtesy of her friends and there they discovered that she is expecting a baby girl.

Her close friends were in attendance to pray and reassure her that she would make a great mom to her child.

Seyi Shay took to her Instagram handle to share a video snippet from the party which held on Sunday, April 17.

The new born mother of one has revealed that she’s engaged.

She made this revelation during an interview on BeatFM.

When the interviewer asked about the ring on her finger, Seyi said, “some guy gave it to me and asked if I would marry him”.

The singer sounds super excited to be engaged to her lover and went on to show off her engagement ring while adding that it’s a real diamond ring.
