One of the front line presidential aspirants on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal has officially announced his withdrawal from the race.
Tambuwal who is the Governor of Sokoto state made the announce shortly at the venue of the Special National Convention of the party which is ongoing at MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja. His words:
“After I have consulted Nigerians widely on my ambition, I have decided to step down from the race for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
