Actor Yul Edochie Drops Presidential Ambition.

Nollywood actor and politician, Yul Edochie, has announced that he’s suspending his presidential ambitions ahead of the 2023 general elections.

The actor, who had previously declared his intention to run for the presidency on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), took to his official Twitter page moments ago to reveal that he’s no longer running for the post.

According to him, after a series of meetings and consultations, he came to the conclusion that his party did not have the capacity to win a presidential election at the moment.

“I wanted to run for President with APGA. After much consultation and meetings, We sat and did our evaluations. We put sentiments aside and embraced facts. Our party is good but does not have the capacity at the moment to win a presidential seat. So I didn’t move further.” The 40-year-old movie star tweeted.
