Normalcy Restored At Ojota

Security operatives have been able to restore calm in Ojota area of Lagos on Monday.

Unrest had been reported at the location, where some Yoruba Nation agitators had gathered for a mega rally.

Our correspondent observed that normalcy had been restored with traders and motorists going about their business.

Armed policemen and vehicle were also observed close to the Gani Fawehinmi Park at Ojota.

Also, Jubril Gawat, an aide to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, tweeted an update on the incident, stating that all was calm at Ojota.

He said, “UPDATE: Ojota is calm. OP-MESA and other Police Divisions are fully on ground. People are going about their normal duties, All clear.”
