You’re a deserving authority, LAUTECH students, others tell Makinde


Students of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), on Monday, declared their full support for the re-election of Governor ‘Seyi Makinde.
The students lauded the governor for his remarkable achievements in the institution.
The students gave this commendation during a ‘Deserving Authority Walk,’ held ahead of the governor’s campaign in Ogbomosoland, which was organised by the Directorate of Students Affairs of the Governor ‘Seyi Makinde Campaign Organisation.

A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Taiwo Adisa, indicated that the students staged the walk to appreciate the governor for securing the sole ownership of LAUTECH, the reduction of school fees in the institution and the cancellation of the ‘no fee, no examination, among others.’

The walk was attended by LAUTECH students, led by the president of the university’s Students Union Government, Adeboye Anuoluwa, the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Zone D, NANS JCC Oyo State and the national council of the Federation of Ogbomoso Students’ Union, among others.
The walk, which started at the LAUTECH Amphitheatre, went through Under-G, Stadium and Orita Naira areas and was terminated at the Oja’gbo venue of the Ogbomoso North and Ogbomoso South local governments rally for the governor’s re-election.
