Adeniran Pledges Support For Women Journalists

The Chairman of Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, Dr Nureni Adeniran has assured women journalists in the State of his support at all time.

Adeniran stated this while hosting the executive members of the Oyo State chapter of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), in his office.

According to him, his love for journalism profession will always make him tosupport media practitioners in the State.

“I love journalism as a profession. That is why I will always support practitioners of this noble profession. “
In her remark, the Chairperson OYO NAWOJ in the State, commended Dr Adeniran for his support and kind gesture to women journalists in the State at all time.

“Chairman of Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, Dr Nureni Adeniran and my fellow Nawojians, I am honored for the opportunity giving to us to meet you sir. We appreciate you for your support towards our Association always.”

“As journalists, we recognize the importance of education in shaping the future of our children and our state. We commend the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board for its efforts in improving access to quality education for all.”

“However, we are concerned about the persistent gender disparities in education, particularly in rural areas. We urge the board to prioritize initiatives that promote girls’ education, address the gender gap, and provide equal opportunities for all.”

“We request collaboration with our association to amplify the voices of girls and women in education. Together, we can create a more inclusive and equitable education system.”

“Let us work together to empower girls and women through education and create a brighter future for Oyo State.”
