Alleged Ritualist and Kidnapper, Ichie Millions, Smiles in Court Despite Gruesome Charges

Obi Levi Obieze, popularly known as Ichie Millions Ezeani, appeared in court on Tuesday, August 6, wearing a calm smile despite facing disturbing charges, including the alleged abduction and ritual killing of pregnant women.

The suspect, said to be a native doctor, was arraigned following his dramatic arrest while reportedly attempting to flee Nigeria. His arrest came after a violent mob of enraged youths stormed his residence in Ezeagu, Enugu State, on May 28, 2025, in response to a suspected failed attempt to abduct a 13-year-old girl, believed to be targeted for ritual purposes.

Eyewitnesses from the community claimed that during the invasion, several soak-away pits were uncovered within the compound. These pits are believed to have been used to bury victims alive, including pregnant women, sparking nationwide outrage and calls for justice.

Obieze is currently in police custody as investigations continue. Security agencies have promised a thorough probe into the shocking revelations, assuring the public that justice will be served.
