APC NATIONAL CONVENTION:GROUP CANVASS SUPPORT FOR ADEBAYO SHITTU TO CONTEST FOR NATIONAL SECRETARY.

As the national convention of the ruling All Progressive Party (APC) slated for Saturday 26th February 2022 draws near, a group within the party have lent their support for the aspiration of Alh. Abudur Raheem Adebayo Shittu to clinch the office of National secretary of the party.

Alh. Shittu who was a former minister of communication has earlier declared his interision to contest for the post over the weekend.

However, a group within the party known as “CONCERNED MEMBERS” led by Alh. Yunus Badru while speaking to Newsmen in Abuja over the weekend explained that the former minister was most suitable to take up the job of the scribe of the party.

Alh. Badru described Barrister shittu as a loyal and dependable candidate that that can be trusted at anytime adding that president Muhammad Buhari has absolute confidence in his ability and capacity to deliver accordingly as the National secretary of the party

Furthermore,he said the group is the former C.P.C block within the party , thus the anticidament of the two -time former commissioner in Oyo State was unpresidented this he said makes him to be qualified for the office.

In his words Alh. Yinus said “we are conscious of his abilities, experience and antecedents as a former member house of Assembly to this end ,we hereby recommend him for the office of national secretary of A.P.C.

In the same vein party faithfulls in Oyo State have also supported Alh. Shittu so that the office National Secretary can be occupied by indigene of the State . In his reaction, a two term federal house of assembly former member Alh. Karreem Abisodun (WERE) explained that it is high time qualified hands are elected to serve the party accordingly .

Alh. Abisodun urged members to close ranks so that the party can be taken to greater heights by winning during the fourth coming 2023 general election in the country.
