BREAKING NEWS: UN Envoy, Amb. Jonathan Ojadah Appointed as Special Advisor to Ivorian Presidential Candidate

In a significant diplomatic development, United Nations Special Envoy, His Excellency, Amb. Dr. Marshall Jonathan Ojadah, has been appointed as Special Representative, Counsellor, and Advisor to Ivorian presidential candidate, H.E. Ousman Camara, ahead of the country’s upcoming general elections.

The appointment, announced on Tuesday, underscores Ambassador Ojadah’s growing influence in international diplomacy and his longstanding commitment to peacebuilding and regional cooperation in Africa.

Amb. Dr. Jonathan Ojadah, a distinguished Nigerian diplomat, businessman, and humanitarian, hails from Aviarha, Isoko North LGA of Delta State. He is widely respected for his vast experience in international trade and investment diplomacy, having engaged in high-level diplomatic dialogues with the EU, AU, and UN across more than a dozen countries, including Germany, the UK, Ethiopia, DR Congo, Rwanda, and Ghana.

A Legacy of Peace and Global Engagement
Amb. Ojadah is currently the Chairman of the UNIPGC Supreme Council and serves as the Diplomatic Head of Mission for Africa and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Headquarters in New York for the Royal Diplomatic Club of the United Nations, Lithuania EU.

He is the founder of the Arise O Nigeria Empowerment Initiative, an NGO launched in 2016 with support from UN Women. The organization champions youth empowerment, women’s rights, and the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Nigeria.
