Nigerian power couple Davido and Chioma Adeleke are celebrating their third wedding anniversary.
It was reported in November 2022, that the son of Adedeji Adeleke secretly got married to Chioma after their son’s death. The wedding, which was done in his father’s house, had few family friends in attendance with no camera allowed. In January 2023, Davido finally paid Chioma’s bride price (Umunna) in full at Ezeala Odu, Imo state.

On his Instagram story, Davido reposted a post from one of their fan pages celebrating the couple on their 3rd anniversary. The singer noted that it was one out of three anniversaries as he cheered on to forever with Chioma.

Reposting it on her Instagram story, Chioma said ‘Amen’ to his prayers and expressed her love for the singer.
“Amen, Amen, my love”.
Just a few days back, Davido had shared a love note he wrote to Chioma, reminding her of his undying love. Reposting it on her Instagram story, Chioma called him her sweet husband.
In June, last year, the singer shut down Lagos for his traditional wedding to Chioma, which many tagged Wedding of the Year. It had in attendance both Lagos and Osun State Governors, Ooni of Ife, billionaire businessmen, and many celebrities.
On Sunday, August 10th, 2025, Davido and his wife, held their white wedding ceremony in Miami. The likes of Dangote, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, Obi Cubana and his wife, Dbanj and his wife, Uche Jombo, Zlatan and wife, and more were in attendance.
During their wedding vows, Chioma described Davido as her love, best friend, and the calm in her storm. She promised to walk with him forever and hold his hand.
Davido noted how Chioma saw the real him and still chose him. The singer added that Chioma is his healer, and calm in the storm and that God brought her into his life to show him unconditional love.
During an interview at her with bridal shower, Chioma said that, contrary to reports, Davido cares about dreams and was always asking what she wants to do.
In an interview, Davido credited Chioma with being behind his success story, noting that his business always suffers whenever he fights with her. He also praised Chioma for being a good stepmom to his others, and recalled a sweet moment between her and Hailey.
