Crime:EFCC Nabs Woman With 18 PVCs In Kaduna State

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have intercepted a woman with 18 voter cards during a sting operation in Badarwa area of Kaduna, in the early hours of today, February 25.

The suspect, identified as Maryam Mamman Alhaji, a supporter of one of the major political parties, also had a 17-page list of registered voters in Badarwa/Malali Wards 01 and 08, Kaduna North Local Government Area of Kaduna State, with their names, bank information, and phone numbers.

They were able to capture her after the undercover agents claimed to have voter cards and were interested in selling them.

She is presently being questioned by EFCC agents from the Kaduna Zonal Command in an effort to identify other members of her syndicate who, according to her, are also obtaining voter registration cards and submitting fees via PoS or direct bank transactions.
